Clare sits where US-10 and US-127 cross, about 45 miles north of the office. It is the largest town in Clare County and the centre of the lake country around it.
Clare is a seasonal market. The lake and cabin properties within 30 minutes of the city drive the work — shoreline removals for access, view clearing, and taking out trees that have come down on a seasonal road.
